Oktoberfest Tampa and the Fran Haasch Law Group<\/a> have announced they are the official co-sponsors of the Leprechauns Hideout at the upcoming Tampa\u2019s Downtown River O\u2019 Green, presented by Grow Financial<\/a> on March 14, 2026. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

River O\u2019 Green is an annual, free event put on by the Tampa Downtown Partnership<\/a> to kick off the St. Patrick\u2019s Day holiday. Mayor Jane Castor will sound the horn to launch the festivities. Leprechaun\u2019s Hideout is a spacious 30×80 hospitality area on the Great Lawn of Curtis Hixon Park overlooking what will be a shimmering green Hillsborough River. The team from Oktoberfest Tampa is putting a lucky Irish spin on their traditional Stein Hoist with a Shamrock Stein Hoist where the day\u2019s competitors will get to hoist their way to lucky charms and top prize winnings. The two co-sponsors are known to support the Tampa community during cultural, city-wide events in downtown and want to celebrate this iconic event that means so much to the thousands of locals and visitors.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The team from Oktoberfest Tampa also participated in River O\u2019 Green during former Mayor Bob Buckhorn\u2019s term when he launched the event back in 2012. Nicol Winkler from Oktoberfest Tampa states \u201cWe love helping our city celebrate long standing, cultural traditions that are celebrated by millions around the world!\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leprechauns Hideout sponsored by Oktoberfest Tampa and the Fran Haasch Law Group is a free, and open to the public shaded area during the event and will be hosting its Shamrock Stein Hoist from 11:00am – 4:00pm at which time they will announce the Top 3 Winners for lads and lady leprechauns to claim their Pot O\u2019 Gold winnings! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This day of festive fun at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park will feature live music, parade, kids activities, food trucks, and of course, beer!
